This 2-week comprehensive, hands-on training course addresses the challenges of making the transition from the traditional classroom to the distance education environment. This is total-immersion in distance learning!
Teletechniques I $1795
As a foundation course, this curriculum focuses on providing the experience, techniques, and resources needed to effectively design and deliver instruction in the distance learning environment, including options for streaming media.
Teletechniques I On-line $879
The on-line offering of our foundation course provides the same concepts and strategies, but you work on the practical applications in the convenience of your own environment.
Teletechniques II and Teletechniques III $1795 per course
These two courses provide advanced level training by examining the newest research on distance learning and the use of contemporary teaching strategies. As in all TTI courses, they offer a wealth of hands-on practice with emerging and state-of-the-art technologies. Each course's curriculum is tailored to participant needs providing flexibility and focus for individuals and the next steps toward the recognition of Certification.
Web-Based Instruction $1795
This hands-on course focuses on developing appropriate multimedia, teaching techniques, and instructional resources for teaching via the Internet. Learn basic HTML, web editors like FrontPage or Dreamweaver, digital imagery, video capturing and editing, options for including IP synchronous components, and web-based learning management systems like Blackboard and WebCT.
Management Solutions for Distance Learning - also available on-line $1795
From facility design, to instructor recruitment and training, classroom management, and student involvement, TTI takes you through the entire distance ed. management process. Thru this curriculum, you learn about the tools needed to make the right choices for a successful distance education program.
Teaching On-Line with Blackboard $795
This hands-on workshop helps you get started using Blackboard as an on-line software package for delivering instruction via the world wide web. With a strong emphasis on integrating multimedia into the Blackboard environment, Teletraining Institute helps participants develop various templates to establish a consistent instructional environment.
Technician Training $1795
This technical course is geared to those who are responsible for creating and maintaining distance education classrooms and networks. Learning modules provide skills for supporting modern-day distance education technology.
Teletrainer's Toolkit - on-line, on-demand $149
This on-line course is an introduction to the nuts and bolts of successful distance education instruction and is designed for individuals who are new to distance education and need to quickly learn the basics of teaching in a distance environment.
