Located on the campus of Oklahoma State University, the Atherton Hotel is within walking distance of many university attractions. Rooms are complete with cable TV, Pay-Per-View, VCRs and refrigerators. Fax service and secretarial services are also available. A variety of eating establishments can be found in the Student Union and Room Service is also available. Rooms may be held until 6 p.m., but later arrivals will require credit card hold or prepayment. Directions from Tulsa: Take the Cimarron Turnpike to the OSU exit (approximately 25 minutes past the first toll booth). Travel 6.5 miles following directions to OSU. Stay on that road after going through the second toll booth (don't take the Perkins Road exit), that road will eventually turn into Boomer Road. Take Boomer south to Hall of Fame Avenue. Take a right at Hall of Fame, then drive to Duck Street, and take a left there. Proceed on Duck until you get to Elm Street, then take a right on Elm. Drive west on Elm to Knoblock, and take a left. Continue on Knoblock for about a block, and the Student Union parking garage will be on your right. The Hotel is located just north of the parking garage. Directions from Oklahoma City: Take I-35 to exit 174 (Hwy 51 East) to Stillwater. Travel approximately 17 miles east on Hwy 51 (also Sixth Street). Stay on Sixth until you get to Monroe Avenue, and turn left onto Monroe. Take Monroe to University Avenue. Turn right on University and continue east. The Student Union parking garage will be on the left, and the Hotel is located just north of the parking garage. |
