Teletechniques III


Teletechniques III is the third building block of your professional development in distance education. Designed for the highly experienced distance educator, this course is an intensive one-week program that furthers your expertise in distance teaching. It follows Teletechniques II.

The core curriculum of Teletechniques III focuses on advanced technologies and presentation tools for the distance education classroom as well as learning theories that are related to distance education and non-verbal communication patterns that affect distance education. You prepare a 30-minute presentation using these new methods and tools and have an opportunity to deliver it for course leaders, peers, and video feedback.

At the conclusion of this course, participants will have gained the ability to:
  • Incorporate picutres, music, vide, animation effects, and word art into your presentations
  • Create an evaluation instrument
  • Expand your use of advanced multimedia equipment such as the chromakey, document camera, etc.
  • Evaluate web pages
  • Expand your web page to include links and assignemnts
  • Insert pictures, graphics, and animation into your web page



Teletechniques III meets the third and final phase core curriculum requirement for the Certified Distance Learning Instructor (CDLI) program.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Instructors who have completed Teletechniques II.
