Step 1 go to web site http://www.real.com and click on Download RealPlayer
Step 2 click on Download Free RealPlayer unless you want the RealPlayer Premium for one time fee of $19.95 (has handy sliders let you tweak your video controls for brightness, contrast, sharpness, and hue) Basic has slider for color control.
Step 3 Click on yes to install RealPlayer Installer.
Step 4 The download manger will download till 100%
Step 5 Read the License Agreement then press Accept
Step 6 The blue arrow is pointing to optional items. Suggest unchecking all items. Click on the Next button to go on.
Step 7 The blue arrows are pointing to optional areas you may select. Click on the Finish to go on.
Step 8 If you have already registered click on the Already Registered green arrow. Watch the blue arrow boxes and check or uncheck them. Then click on the Create next to the red arrow.
Step 9 Watch the check boxes for more Optional products. Click the red arrow to Confirm.
Step 10 Click the blue arrow box for Basic Setup (Free) or check the Premium for $19.95. Press Continue to complete.
Update to update RealPlayer to newer version
After the new RealPlayer version is installed,

Open
RealPlayer
2.
Click
on Help then About RealPlayer
3.
Click
on Check For Updates
4.
After RealPlayer installs, I would suggest under Desktop Settings deselecting
choices and the others (Quick Launch Toolbar and Free Games and Music)
5. Select Basic Setup
Students who use JAWS or Window-Eyes Programs with RealPlayer
After the new RealPlayer version is installed,

RealPlayer

Click
on Help then About RealPlayer
3. Click on Check For Updates
4. Screen-Reader Accessible Help for RealPlayer (JAWS or Window-Eyes)
5. You may want to download the new Help program. The Help program has screen reader information and accessibility information.
