Web-Based Instruction

Designing, developing and delivering Web-Based Instruction uses multimedia, web editors, and Teletechniques in a five-day course designed for the instructor, trainer, or teacher who is responsible for creating courses for the World Wide Web. This comprehensive program focuses on the details of developing appropriate multimedia, teaching techniques, and resources that help you design and deliver web-based courses. Hands-on activities are emphasized along with the overriding philosophy that developing content is the key to a successful program.

A informal presentation of your developed Web-Based Course before course leaders and peers is required to successfully complete this course.

At the conclusion of this course, participants will have gained the ability to:
  • Create web pages using basic HTML
  • Scan, create, and insert great graphics
  • Record, edit and insert audio
  • Publish your website or web pages
  • Stream audio and video
  • Create and add animation
  • Incorporate the five basic instructional design components
  • Design instructional materials for the Internet
  • Build an assignment page and an assignment submission form
